On a day dominated by Connor Hellebuyck, the Winnipeg Jets have been making other moves behind the scenes.
Vlad Namestnikov has been placed on injured reserve retroactively following an injury picked up on October 15.
The forward started the season with just one assist through six games for a lacklustre Jets team that sits 4-3-3.
Other roster moves had to be made to make space for players coming in from the Hellebuyck trade, with Brayden Yager loaned to the Manitoba Moose and Jack St. Ivany placed on waivers, also for a loan to the Moose.
Both players have featured on four occasions for the Jets this year, with neither registering a point.
Winnipeg continues their season at home against the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday (7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+), looking to snap a four-game losing streak.
